Slimming Fast

New food plans. I was looking for something nutritional, affordable, and easy to maneuver. I did not want too many choices, but I also did not want something too boring or expensive. So I have found myself landing on a Slim Fast diet. Yes I know fad dieting never works, but this seems to be a good option as far as nutrition and cost goes. I have gotten my breakfast and lunch for two weeks for $53.00 all in one spot. My breakfast is including a Slim Fast shake and a Greek yogurt. My lunch will be a Slim Fast shake and a fiber bar. If I get hungry between breakfast and dinner I have also bought some bananas to keep at work which I am slowly finding out I am going to need after lunch as a hunger buster, and my doctor says I could use the added potassium. Do any of you do any weird diets and does anything work?

  1. Good luck. Remember, healthy eating and a healthy life is a lifestyle not a fad. If you plan on eating slim fast forever it will work. I worry about the lack of quantity of food you are consuming during the day. And a banana and those cans of slim fast turn straight to fat if you are not exercising. I am not knocking what you are doing, I think it is good yet just trying to help. I notice you didn't mention dinner. Which if you eat whatever you want will just negate you starving yourself all day. You should actually eat more during the day and less at night because the food in your stomach at night turns to fat. If you check out my blog, Life... unlimited there is a post in the archives, best eating system ever. I swear it is a healthy, delicious way to shead fat and weight and be healthy. I post a lot of excersises on there too. Also if you follow my Facebook a lot of my friends follow for my healthy posts. Good luck and keep it up!

  2. @ Andrew, you're a retard. SlimFast doesn't "turn to fat" if you're not exercising. It's 190 calories per shake, loaded with vitamins, fiber, and protein. Two shakes, a banana, a fiber bar, and a 500 calorie dinner adds up to about 1200 calories a day, with 100% DV of nearly all vitamins and minerals, proteins, carbs, and fiber needed for optimum health.
